Introducing Leather Solvent Cleaner EXPERT LINE – the perfect solution to tackle a variety of important leather preparation tasks.

Our Solvent Cleaner is specially formulated to gently and effectively remove embedded stains and blemishes from leather. The composition of our cleaner is designed to partially and gently remove the uppermost finishing layer of the leather, which contains foreign dye, without causing the entire finish layer to swell or break down. This ensures that only the required volume of the surface layer is removed while preserving the paint layer.

In addition to removing stains, Solvent Cleaner is also an ideal preparatory product for enhancing paint adhesion. By temporarily making the leather surface more tacky, our cleaner greatly enhances the adhesive bond between the paint and finish, ensuring that they adhere more readily to the leather surface and produce a better result.

Leather Solvent Cleaner is perfect for treating a range of leathers, including automotive leather, furniture leather, footwear and clothing leather, and leather goods, as well as imitation leather.

REMOVING STAINS AND MARKS FROM THE SKIN

Apply a small amount of Solvent Cleaner to a terry towel or non-woven towel and
gently begin wiping away any stains or embedded stains on the leather. It is important not to put too much pressure on the towel so as not to damage the leather finish. If the stain is not gone after the first application, allow the surface to dry slightly for 10-15 minutes and repeat the process.

PREPARATION OF THE LEATHER FOR PAINTING AND STRENGTHENING THE ADHESION OF THE PAINT TO THE SURFACE

Apply a small amount of Solvent Cleaner on a terry towel or a non-woven towel and start wiping the leather surface in a single stroke, after the first pass you will feel the tackiness of the upper finishing layer. Repeat the rubbing process several times and you can then move on to painting or applying a Leather Top Coat.

The leather staining process consists of several important steps that must be carefully followed in order to obtain a quality result.

The surface to be painted must be thoroughly cleaned of dust, dirt and foreign matter, using a professional Leather Ultimate Cleaner. In the case of deep impurities in the leather, the dirt and grease should be removed first using Leather Degreaser. If the leather is damaged or the paintwork is damaged, the loose old paintwork should first be removed using Solvent Cleaner or Leather Prep.

After thorough cleaning and preparing of leather, degrease it with Alcohol Cleaner and apply LeTech Leather Primer, adding 5-10% of the product to the leather surface.

Subsequently proceed to applying Leather Colourant and Leather Top Coat
