Description
Leather Degreaser is a thick absorbent gel which absorbs oils and grease when applied to leather. A common problem with all leather goods is sebum, which, once absorbed by the leather, gradually turns the leather dark and unsightly, and sometimes even sticky.
Leather Degreaser absorbs the grease, oil and perspiration, cleansing the problem area completely. The gel form of the product is easy to apply, allowing it to be applied in the right quantity and in the right places. After evaporation of the solvents, where the skin structure is clear the surface remains white, and where the fat has been absorbed by the skin, the border of the foreign component is clearly defined, yellow to dark brown, and sometimes even black, thus acting as an indicator. It is very important to remove the fat from the leather structure completely, this process in leather repair is very important. Don’t count on high quality repairs and a long service life of the leather after painting if you skip this step.
Leather Degreaser also allows you to gently remove biros stains and other dyes that have been absorbed into the leather.

Instructions
The Leather Degreaser, which is a professional product, requires a specific application technique, as well as an understanding of the product’s properties.
Our LeTech ACADEMY-LeCademy trains you in the correct use of our professional Leather Degreaser products.
1. Before you start removing grease stains from the leather, clean the leather first with Leather Ultimate Cleaner. After cleaning the leather, you can start removing greasy and oily stains.
2. Using a leather brush or commercial brush, apply Leather Degreaser to the soiled area and allow it to dry (approx. 30 min.). As Leather Degreaser dries, it will absorb grease and dirt from the leather. As a result, its colour will change to yellow or brown where there is a grease stain and will remain white where the leather is clean.
3. When Leather Degreaser grease stain remover dries, it will turn into a powder to be picked up with a hoover or terry towel.
4. Once the grease stain is completely removed, repeat the first step of leather cleaning with Leather Ultimate Cleaner.
5. Repeat the first four steps until the Leather Degreaser remains white when dry, or until the stain is gone.
6. After all grease has been removed, you may need to refresh the colour. To renew colour, use Re-Colouring Balm or Leather Colour Restorer, depending on the type of Leather you are working with.
7. To prevent further absorption of grease into the cleansed leather, use Leather Protection Cream or Leather Lotion and Leather Conditioner every 3 months.
Note: Bicast leather can react with Leather Degreaser, which can result in the leather becoming sticky and unpleasant to the touch.
